 | Hi, I’m Hannah… I laugh a lot, giggle a lot, laugh a bit more and smile! |
I’m the youngest in my family. I have two older brothers, an older sister and a mum and dad. I’ve been brought up in a Christian home so have gone to Church since I was a baby. As I have grown I have become more involved in the life of the Church. I play the flute in the worship band and I am part of a team which plans special services. I am also part of a young people’s growth group called 24:7 and enjoy taking part in other youth activities. It’s great to have such good friends in Church and to be able to share life with each other. As I have grown up in a Christian home I have always known that God is real, that He wants to have a relationship with us, and have been encouraged to ask big questions about life. When I was just three I decided to give my life to God, but since then my faith has become more real and relevant. I want God to use me in everything that I do and through this I hope that those around me will be challenged and transformed by God’s grace. I love camping, walking, badminton, socialising with friends, drinking hot chocolate, and I'm really into music - performing, composing and chilling out to it. Jazz, gospel, funk, punk, classical, worship, experimental, instrumental, indie, rock, soul and blues – you name it, I enjoy it! I play the piano and flute, and experiment with other instruments. I love going to live music events of many different varieties and genres with my family and friends. The most bizarre concert so far has to be a candle-lit lute concert! I’m presently studying at Hutton Grammar Sixth Form and will be taking my A Levels this summer (2007) in music, psychology and religious studies. I really enjoy sixth form life and hope that the work will all pay off as I’m hoping to study psychology at university after… yikes! |
